50 min journey home from work took me 2 1/2 hours . roads have been gritted but everyone is staying home so not enough flow of traffic to get the grit working . I was the first to drive on the road I live in since the snow started .

my two cats had to be pushed outside to do what they needed to to . they kept opening the catflap and sticking their noses out and changing their minds

Guessed that,We've all done it:oThing is if she books into a hotel it'll be a waste because she's got to leave so early to get to the airport:cool:It's the lesser of two evils really the weather is going to be bad whenever she does it. Their doesnt look like any let up here at the moment:(Thing is if she drives down later, leaves herself plenty of time she can always go into the airport and get a coffee while she waits and she'll be in the warm;)
