OMG that is so weird:eek::eek::eek:MrLala wants to drive to Doncaster tomorrow morning (I've told him hes mad) to collect a van and thats the same journey your DD is doing. Will keep you updated at this end:)

We know that he supports Chelsea ;)

As well as the snow being dangerous, the journey will take longer because of the conditions, accidents etc, he want to consider breaking his journey & staying overnight, even if he goes up during the day temperatures will dip when it gets dark. I used to do a lot of driving in these conditions to away games in the winter

My dd is collecting bf from airport at 6.20 in morning. I'm debating weather to book her hotel at heathrow tonight because of weather. Only problem is no one is 100% sure of his flight number not even his mum who booked it so it may not be 6.20. I am so mad cos dd is trying her best to search it on airport site and he has not been in touch as he run out of credit. Thanks again x

    Tenth Anniversary
    :hello: all

Not been around much for the last few days, it's been rather strange actually. I'm not a prolific poster by any means, but I do always keep up and this is the first time since I joined that I've missed big chunks of the thread.

Unfortunately my mother in law, who was in hospital last week, passed away on Monday :( So things have been rather hectic. OH has been in Glasgow since last week and I've been up and down the road between Glasgow and Inverness. I'm currently staying with my parents and will be leaving DD here and be heading through to Glasgow on Sunday for the funeral on Monday. It's been pretty tough as I've not really been able to be there for OH, I've only seen him for a couple of hours since Monday and DD misses him something awful as well.

I can see there has been some apg glitches again, hope you've all been taking full advantage ;) No snow here for me, but for those that are getting lots I hope you're all taking care .

Oh dear LFAB I am sorry to hear this, try not to stress your self out as I am sure your OH knows you want to be there for him at such a hard time for him.
