Not been around much for the last few days, it's been rather strange actually. I'm not a prolific poster by any means, but I do always keep up and this is the first time since I joined that I've missed big chunks of the thread.
Unfortunately my mother in law, who was in hospital last week, passed away on MondaySo things have been rather hectic. OH has been in Glasgow since last week and I've been up and down the road between Glasgow and Inverness. I'm currently staying with my parents and will be leaving DD here and be heading through to Glasgow on Sunday for the funeral on Monday. It's been pretty tough as I've not really been able to be there for OH, I've only seen him for a couple of hours since Monday and DD misses him something awful as well.
I can see there has been some apg glitches again, hope you've all been taking full advantageNo snow here for me, but for those that are getting lots I hope you're all taking care .
Really bad time of year sending hugs take care xxOn the countdown mortgage will be paid off this year if I keep paying bit extra fingers crossed fully paid out by July :j0 -
Just reading back and here's a tip for migraine sufferers:
http://www.ehow.com/how_6749149_use-peppermint-oil-migraines.html
I've always found it helpful and Fudge_Cake does too, HTHQueenriderbrekke wrote: »I always used to use a hot water bottle on the back of neck, obviously not in direct contact with skin helped.:)
If you put peppermint oil on your forehead and on the back of your neck and then put a damp flannel on it, it goes all lovely and cool and tingly. Also put a bit under your nose and breathe it in - it clears your sinuses and helps with nausea. Just don't get it in your eyes or touch any delicate areas of skin or you will know about it! :eek:Hope is not a strategy.0 -

Big hugs to you hun. They have sales regularly, but they also have glitches regularly;) Don't worry you'll know when a glitch comes up because their are quite a few of us Bodyshop addicts on here;) I think its like marmite, you love the stuff or hate it:)Personally I love it:)Best thing to do is next time you're shopping and you see a Bodyshop, nip in and chack out the stuff and make a note of what you like. Then when it glitches you'll know what to buy:T
Hmmm might have to buy anyway if the prices are good and see what I get.
Worst case they would end up as pressies for family, I klnow at least one of them uses the stuffHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000

So true. When I lived in Vermont USA, they would love my stories about the utter choas us Brits would have over a couple of centimeters of snow.
We just aren't prepared to the same level though and people do need to think of the elderly, and remind them to keep warm and make sure and have hot meals. We are off to my Gran's to check on her and a few neighbours today.0 -

I hope I live long enough ...... to see the end of the DFS Sale!!!!;)

Morning all!
Please spare a thought for DH, he spent last night on a campbed at Munich airport after his flight was cancelled due to snow there. I'm hoping he'll get back safely today, but I'm guessing conditions aren't going to be good in Manchester or driving over the Pennines. Can anyone over there give me an update, please?
Thank goodness he's got his winter tyres on.
Hope everyone has a good day, look after yourselves.
Son flew out to Barbados this morning and went to airport via M60 from Urmston way and everything was clear0
