I just heard on Five Live that the Food Standards Agency think it's immoral to bin the contaminated burgers. They suggested that they should be given away for free to those who would eat them. They question, therefore, is, would you? !!

PS Text from school - now shutting at 12.35! No surprise there!
I would have no problem in principal having eaten it before in France,Italy,Belgium and the Netherlands. The UK is one of the few places that don't eat horse meat but only for cultural reasons. It's highly likely that many people who travel and have eaten sausage/sausage roll/pastie etc equivalents will have eaten horsemeat without knowing anyway.

The only thing that would trouble me, and it applies to any meat, is that the source is not well documented and traceable (not yet anyway)

Do they always have a sale on and is the stuff any good?

They have sales regularly, but they also have glitches regularly;) Don't worry you'll know when a glitch comes up because their are quite a few of us Bodyshop addicts on here;) I think its like marmite, you love the stuff or hate it:)Personally I love it:)Best thing to do is next time you're shopping and you see a Bodyshop, nip in and chack out the stuff and make a note of what you like. Then when it glitches you'll know what to buy:T

    :hello: all

Not been around much for the last few days, it's been rather strange actually. I'm not a prolific poster by any means, but I do always keep up and this is the first time since I joined that I've missed big chunks of the thread.

Unfortunately my mother in law, who was in hospital last week, passed away on Monday :( So things have been rather hectic. OH has been in Glasgow since last week and I've been up and down the road between Glasgow and Inverness. I'm currently staying with my parents and will be leaving DD here and be heading through to Glasgow on Sunday for the funeral on Monday. It's been pretty tough as I've not really been able to be there for OH, I've only seen him for a couple of hours since Monday and DD misses him something awful as well.

I can see there has been some apg glitches again, hope you've all been taking full advantage ;) No snow here for me, but for those that are getting lots I hope you're all taking care .

    Big hugs:( xx

:D oh yes :D The body butter is superb. Really supple on your skin. I love the peach one & it's reduced from £13 to £3.90.
The Vanilla is divine & I've just bought the Brazil nut to try.
Also the Men's White Musk range smells heavenly on Fourp ♥

Very nice snap, notice you have a monkey puzzle tree there, I would think twice if I was you, my mums neighbour has one , about 60 years old now so big, but the roots have done damage to the founds of the houses as planted so close and they can't take it down as its protected by local council by-laws:(

:( My Monkey puzzle tree is about 20 years old now & selfishly I know, :o I won't be around in another 20 years time

i would eat them i agree with the FSA,

what i dont agree with is that it wasnt labled correctly , it shuld have said contains horse, them choices culd be made , but i think that all that food going waste at a time where food is neede dis such a shame

From what is known so far the firm putting horsemeat into the burgers for Tesco didn't know as the supplier of the "meat" was in Poland.
