why didnt you go see staff / manager as it was only 6 of any iteam allowed in stores so im sure the manager wuld have helped you out there;)

the store i was at were lovley and just mentiond on way in the only 6 of same iteam allowed to make it fair for all, (they said it was across all store)

cant bleive some -one wuld take the whole shelf of them that nutts unless you buy every one the same gift but i suspect they were to sell on

I am going to phone CS and email them too to show them how disappointed I am. I am a regular shopper and spend a lot of money at this particular store, and by a lot, I mean sometimes £150 a month (when they have a glitch on!). I came out of the bloody sale with one or two little bits and bats which are going to be returned tomorrow as I only got them to stop myself feeling so angry! Don't get me wrong, I get that it's first come first served, but to clear out the whole S and G range and fill it in one trolley is just so so so wrong!

There were customers in the store with massive trolleys filled with all kinds of gifts which had been totally cleared on the shelves clearly and loudly saying "Well I will see you again next year, won't be coming to do any shopping here again until the next sale" whilst others were loudly saying "This will sell nicely at the car boot" with SA's smiling, agreeing and chipping in. There was no sign of anyone pointing out that there were only 6 of any items being allowed, it was more a case of "I've got 20 of those and 40 of those" at the till whilst the awful manager was putting things through.

I am now officially boycotting the local store which I hope will get closed down soon. It's been in the papers that they are on the brink of closure as they are not making enough money. Well my £50 to £150 a month will no longer be going to that store, and the sooner they shut down, the better! I probably sound like a complete cow, but the SA's were awful. I went over to one and told her this was not on and she more or less said tough !!!!! to me!

Anyway, I am calm and shall now drink some peppermint tea to calm my nerves or something like that.

    PS. Ain't it freezing!!!

Pretty sure that is a myth made up by the health and safety crazies

Sorry don't know how to do a double quote.

Heard about not clearing snow a few years ago, don't know where from, but today it has been on the radio, Smooth FM, warning people not to clear snow on paths outside their houses because they are liable and can be sued if anyone hurts themselves falling on an area you have tried to clear or even put salt and grit on to clear ice.:(
Mad - but I think it is true, anyone else been told this ?

Have just been to put a few titbits and a drink out for the many birds that frequent my garden.
I was sitting in my dining room having a catchup and to my suprise I looked out of the window to see my favourite blackbird trying desperatly to eat the fake red berries on my standard holly bush I got whoopsied in T's;)I must admit when Lala and I bought them I thought the berries were real so in away it did some good as it made me aware that our little feathered friends also suffer when the weather is bad.

We use these http://www.stanhope-vet.co.uk/ been great.

What I would definately recommend is pet insurance dont go with petplan unless you are loaded, we use More Than and they have paid out everytime over £10,000 now.

So could not recommend them enough
    :T:T:T:T:T

I'm just on school run on phone, so will get some photos ready for later. Thanks for the recommendation David.

No worries pet. I remember 3 or 4 years ago, there was shed loads the day the 75% off sale started, and there was shed loads left 2 days later too. I guess it's all change now. Boohoo!
