thought for the day

Heads up all. Due to the fact bad weather is forecast the supermarkets are rammed today. Lots of people panic shopping. So there may be lots of wombles about. I picked up a large receipt in Tesco earlier and might pop back for a walk around the car park later
I'm definitely popping to sada later:D0 -

David, that sounds awful, glad he is on the mend now though. What a pain having to go through that, vets should know what they are doing in the first place. I bet its cost you a fortune in vet bills, but he is very much worth it.
I have a cat who broke his leg a couple of years ago, and my vets operated on it, we never had him insured, and they told me was going to cost around £130.00, when we went to pick him up the day after the op, they gave me a bill of £1 500.00, I was gobsmacked, they said they had problems in theatre and needed extra work done, then they wanted to charge me an extra £50.00 a week in steriod injections. I took my cat to another vet for a second opinion, and guess what they said he didnt need them. They are just conning !!!!!!s some of them.0 -
Last year it has 2 working scanners and my boys loved scanning and putting stuff back if not 1p:Dbut now no scanners:mad:I know from the reduced T thread that the 8 pack smarties are only £1.12 Also lots of trees and i love them-cant wait to munch a few.
all the scanner are gone from the stores I visit. I asked the SA to scan the xmas stuff for me. Said I didn't want them when they scanned full price:D I looked for the 8 pk smarties today, but they didn't have any in the metro store.0 -
David, your dogs are lovely. Could you recommend a vets?
We got our pup today, and need to book him in for his jabs.
How exciting I hope you have a long & happy life together. I would recommend my vet who I trust with my most treasured possessions, my cats but I dont think you are down south0 -
