Hi talking of first visits to the dentist I went with my 17 month old grandson Riley who screamed the place down one minute then when he was out of the chair he was puckering up wanting to give the dentist a kiss. Same with the drs last week he took one look at him then screamed the place down and when we were going he wanted to kiss him too. He was also puckering up when I showed him the bin lorry and the to the bin men lol. He s a friendly little chap.

    Bless him.

My DS has a different way of embarrassing me. When he was 5 took him to the Drs for something or other. Anyhow as we are leaving (from left field) my son looks him in the eye and asks him if he is Dr Death  He always has his head in a book so whether he got the idea from a a superhero book or Harry Potter I don't know. To this day still feel mortified. But I've always worried that Dr thinks thats how we refer to him (we don't). Son now 10 we had to go same Dr yesterday but mercifully he seems to have forgotten (son, not sure about Dr :rotfl:)

Hi everyone, still living in hope of some big glitches.

barely been out of the house this week, one no spend day, one trip to the post office where I also got tomatoes and then yesterday I went to our delightful Farm Foods - milk for £1, 2 Hovis for £1.60, bananas, veg rice and ham for sandwiches and that was it.

just have to hope the weather holds today, long drive and dreading it and then I've got to go into town afterwards.

My OH set fire to the chimney last night, very impressive sparks like a volcano coming out of the top, moved the cars and managed to put it out without having to ring the fire brigade. Last time I am leaving him on his own unsupervised.

that's the most entertaining thing that's happened this week so far .....

You need to get your chimney swept or it could happen again.
My mum had a sweeps kit and used to do her own.

COT, I know the prices! what is happening!

do go to Aldi, my parents told me about how the clementines were wither 69p or 89p for 600g as opposed to 650g for £1.10 at sada...assuming pots and the like are a similar difference?

Please report back if you have time, I see pots are 2.5kg, 2 packs for £3 in sada...cheapest I have found, this is for standard whites, not even baking! do let us know if u fine em cheaper...I'll be finding an Aldi then:)

    have a nice trip x x

I've been buying A1di fruit and veg for ages now it's good quality and alot cheaper than elsewhere. Baking potatoes are £1.99 for 2.5kg, butternut squash 49p, avacado 49p,salad potatoes 49p, cauli 79p. My kids prefer their crisps to walkers and they are only £1.99 for 24 bags:D

I did mention it to a SA, but they were not really interested, they all kept away from sale area and said well they didnt see it happen. So not sure how they paid at till, if anyone was with them or not and split them!!!
