    Morning everyone..

Thank you very much for all the good luck wishes yestereday..

the consultant i saw was very nice and listened to everything.. he confirmed i had a TONIC CLONIC / GRAND MAL seizure. he said i have to lose my driving licence for 6 months at the moment as it may only be a one off..if i have more it will be a rolling 1 year ban.

he done some tests on me yesterday ECG, reflexes, eyes, and some weird thing with a tuning fork.

i have to go back for a MRI in the next 4-6 weeks and also have to go to another hospital in oxford for the EEG in 4-6 weeks. (100mile round trip)

from the test he done yesterday he said he dosent think its anything sinister..

to get a epilepsy diagnosis you have to have 2+ fits. and if i have another its likely to be in the coming weeks/months..so the longer i go without the less chance its likely to happen again.

I havent been on a bus for about 20 years, but luckily yesterday they all ran on time without a hitch..apart from the drivers being so blooming miserable..

Thank you for updating Mark glad it doesnt sound anything sinister.

that's scary . be careful when it happened to us neighbours knocked on the door to say we had flames coming out of the chimney . the fire brigade said it could reignite on its own and recommended we got the chimney swept straight h t away . our own fault Wed been burning unweathered wood we' d collected on walks cos couldn't afford coal.

Good morning, not too bad weather wise here in the North, a whole 2C, about the chimney fires I see some others have advised but I lived in a flat where another chimney went on fire , the fire brigade explained that the fire may appear out but the thick tar that had built up could burn on virtually undetected but cause great structure damage so be very careful and call in the sweep asap.:)

Good morning, DS birthday today, was up early opening his presents, and hoping snow comes early, so they get sent home from school, desperate to go sledging.

Rhosynback, good news about DS, and praying your DD goes into labour soon, its horrible hanging round waiting.

josie-ann57 , I used a 200 extra points out of machine yesterday, no problem.

Good morning everyone. Cold day, really orangey red sky today, and we're in London all day including this evening (got tickets to see Cirque Du Soleil! at the RAH). Just hope we can actually get home!! Should be fine most of the way if it snows, but we live off a road that is off a road that is off a road, and we have NEVER seen any gritters round here, although they have now planted a grit bin on the corner!

Enjoy, myself and the kids would love to see this.

Glad the docs are sorting it, 6 months without driving will fly by.
