    Morning everyone..

Thank you very much for all the good luck wishes yestereday..

the consultant i saw was very nice and listened to everything.. he confirmed i had a TONIC CLONIC / GRAND MAL seizure. he said i have to lose my driving licence for 6 months at the moment as it may only be a one off..if i have more it will be a rolling 1 year ban.

he done some tests on me yesterday ECG, reflexes, eyes, and some weird thing with a tuning fork.

i have to go back for a MRI in the next 4-6 weeks and also have to go to another hospital in oxford for the EEG in 4-6 weeks. (100mile round trip)

from the test he done yesterday he said he dosent think its anything sinister..

to get a epilepsy diagnosis you have to have 2+ fits. and if i have another its likely to be in the coming weeks/months..so the longer i go without the less chance its likely to happen again.

I havent been on a bus for about 20 years, but luckily yesterday they all ran on time without a hitch..apart from the drivers being so blooming miserable..

    Morning all

So glad you have seen the consultant now and had some positive news :) Strange that you have to go so far for the EEG though

6 months will fly by so fingers crossed you don't have another fit and can get your licence back :)

(Shivers) Thinking of you jam sponge! Do you have ice inside your windows - that's one of my wintery childhood memories; I used to love pulling the thin sheets of ice from the inside of the window!!

Yep, you have to scratch it off if you want to look out. Nice and cosy in the living room so thats where I am staying. Have to pluck up the courage to get dressed.:D

You need a good glitch - that would send you upstairs and get you dressed before you could say Jack Robinson!!

Hey that's good they have seen you so quickly it took them eight months up here to get all the tests done.

Hopefully its a one off for you. Stress is a massive trigger not sure if you have had any recently.

Buses I will actually miss my pass(brill for glitching supermarkets all on bus routes) as OH will still have the car during the day and I will walk to work. Just can't pay £3 !

Hopefully you are feeling a bit safer this week. Been thinking of you :)

P.s get to drive as of Sunday its been a quick year :)

No frost or snow here in the South West. However I have my snow tyres ftted so I am ready. My Aunt is coming for few days so will have a bit of time at home. So if snow comes I think a bit of indoor spring cleaning is in order.
