  • Drives me nuts migraines:mad:
I generally go thru a routine of taking a sinutab and drinking loads of water . I have a million different theories as to what causes mine but I always reckon if the system is not dehydrated and there is no constipation then that's a fairly basic start for me. So often the migraines are so bad though that not in a position to help oneself:(

Me too.... I have had to resort to betablockers after years of them every few months then getting them every week in November. Not ideal but boy they work and no side affects. Tried everything, staying off usual foods, sunglasses in low sunlight, regular sleep patterns, but to no avail.... someone told me you can get Botox in the temples on the nhs to freeze the blood vessels, but am not sure about that! Also heard to avoid those smelly oil burners giving off strong smells in the house.......

Agree with Patty about plenty of water too, not just when you have a migraine but all the time...cos the brain shrinks when dehydrated or something??
I like glitching, I like glitching, I like glitching and I like to glitch.....................:j:j:j

I have posted this on the main grabbit board and thought of posting here as well if anyone misses it.

Today I went to my local store on a hunch that the toys will be 75% off. The banners and stickers still said 50% off only. However I checked a few I wanted and most of them were 75% off.

But there seems to be no rhyme or reason regarding the % off, because some were less than 75% off while some were more than 75% off. For example, a Nerf gun was £8 (original price £25) while a Hello Kitty set was only £2 (original price £10)

There was nobody else in our store and not even the staff were aware of them being 75% off.

I had some Tesco burgers instead of Weetabix this morning.

I didn't even have to use the garden gate on my way to work, I just jumped the fence

Now dont be like that Bea, I am sat here at the moment having a cuppa so less with the snidy comments:rotfl:.
Thats not to say in 30 minutes there will be any left  only joking going to take the dogs to the woods.
But I will be getting some more as we seem to go through bin bags like they are going out of fashion. I heard the other day we are getting wheelie bins  Think we will need some sort of compactor unless I can convince the youngest that it is a trampoline :D but I doubt that somehow.

Sorry didn't mean to be honest :D

    Morning everyone..

Thank you very much for all the good luck wishes yestereday..

the consultant i saw was very nice and listened to everything.. he confirmed i had a TONIC CLONIC / GRAND MAL seizure. he said i have to lose my driving licence for 6 months at the moment as it may only be a one off..if i have more it will be a rolling 1 year ban.

he done some tests on me yesterday ECG, reflexes, eyes, and some weird thing with a tuning fork.

i have to go back for a MRI in the next 4-6 weeks and also have to go to another hospital in oxford for the EEG in 4-6 weeks. (100mile round trip)

from the test he done yesterday he said he dosent think its anything sinister..

to get a epilepsy diagnosis you have to have 2+ fits. and if i have another its likely to be in the coming weeks/months..so the longer i go without the less chance its likely to happen again.

I havent been on a bus for about 20 years, but luckily yesterday they all ran on time without a hitch..apart from the drivers being so blooming miserable..

Good to read you found out something
