It's been a while since I did an APG shop. Since when did they put filler prices up?

Sponges are now 18p. Paracetamol and ibuprofen both gone up by a couple of pence each

Wow imposter, they are amazing :D

The lights in the pics above didn't look quite so good with the naked eye, more like greeny clouds that went brighter and dimmer. They look better with the camera as it captures more light (on a long exposure).

But the random "storm" of lights when we were back near the coach, which I couldn't get photos of, was sooo beautiful <3 I recommend Iceland as a destination, but it's REALLY PRICEY. Just pack your suitcase full of glitching food, wine and a Tesco Value kettle like I did and you will be laughing :rotfl:

Anyone had any experience of being a Deal or New Deal contestant? Hubby just had a call to say they are considering him and he'll know within 2 weeks! Only problem is he has just started a new job, how long do they stay on the show for?

Think i read somewhere that contestants go to Bristol for two weeks and they film a lot of shows over that period.

If he gets chosen he will have to ask.

    Hope he gets chosen :T

Friend's neighbour was on it. 2 weeks of all paid-for drinking, designed to great gung-ho atmosphere between contestants.

Some pictures do look better on camera than by eye. I have some I took last year which I know full well didnt look like that by eye, but I guess just holding the camera at a slightly not normal camera does the trick for me

  • Ok, I'll let you have that one

But we do the (allegedly) the second biggest Asda in the uk
I know I have sat on the motorway and looked at it for many hours trying to work out if I could leave the car in the traffic pop over the fence and do a shop before the traffic starts moving again :D, sadly the kids never want a toilet stop when we are in the area, wouldn't mind a look, although suspect might take a few hours :D

I have thought the same when I've been stuck on the motorway, and that's the junction for my house too.

You need to start filling the kids up with fluids about 30-45 mins before you get to Asda so that the NEED to go :D

I feel sure that APG used to still include reduced items (bread) as 1/8 but recent APGs failed due to not having enough items. Has it changed or do I have false memory?

I know, "get more items just in case" but I am curious so that I know what to include in my counting to 8.

    Many thanks

    Anon

Last time I did an APG it included my reduced items, but showed as n/a, although I haven't been since Christmas Eve

I'm off to bed feel totally unprepared for the boots sale, who was of that was setting out at 0630?

Should I be setting an alarm for an online sale as well guys ?

Re prescriptions I kind of only half read the previous posts, I'm on my phone so can't do a lengthy comment you'll be relieved to hear ;)

1.I often give my patients 2 or 3 months supply of prescriptions at a time. I often sign repeats without even reading them!!!
2.If they pay for prescriptions it is allowed but not more than 3 months
    3. If they have regular repeats it saves my staff time with patients ringing in every month. FGS by the time you've ordered one month it's time for the next months!
    4. You can't abuse the system as your repeats will be set at say 2 or 3 monthly so you can only order at the right time of the computer will flag up that you've overused them.
    5. I myself have paracetamol on repeat prescription and yes I get 200 a month even though they are 18p over the counter. Am I abusing the system? I would say no- when I go to the supermarket I can only buy 2packs of 16, I would have to go to buy paracetamol every other day for however long if took for my shoulder to heal!
    6. We have a traffic light system with all drugs, some of the more complex cancer drugs are red light ( consultant prescription only) others require shared care agreements where a consultant agrees to monitor a script if we issue it but this needs appropriate paperwork completing, others are amber which can mean we can prescribe if the consultant starts you off on it. I'm afraid we are forever having problems with dalteparin scripts. Your consultant should be aware - either he gives you enough to last however long he wants you on them or he specifically writes to the GP to ask us to take over prescribing. I still have a couple of patients same as logie, consultant still hasn't written to us, practice PCT pharmacist won't let us add thd prescription :( Afraid 99% of my job is politics 1% medicine
Why do you think I prefer glitching ?:D
