I bought a poly tunnel last year, so I transplant them in to there end of jan/feb (weather permitting). My beloved grapevine is in there also and I am very keen to keep it alive! I am a bit obsessed with it:o
I have herbs growing in there as well, so I have them pretty much all year round.
I do have some veg in the poly tunnel already, sprouts, cabbage, onions, garlic and broccoli but the water coming up from underneath has hampered them a bit:( and ill be surprised if I get any winter spuds:(
sounds like you have green fingersmy Dad grew up on a farm and he always grew his own veg. I'm still learning
I don't grow anything in the winter, but during the spring/summer I grow potatoes, spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, runner beans, french beans, strawberries, broad beans and sweetcorn. I should have planted the broad beans in october to prevent black fly, but I forgot!
