When i tried to use my points for books on my kindle was told i couldn't. Have you used yours before please on kindle books ?
I have used mine before on amazon with o problems and have certainly not had any problems using them for kindle. Not sure why you where told you couldn't?
Just trying to remember how I did it before I may have used the points to buy an amazon voucher and then applied this to my account and used it to buy the kindle books...

No, Heathrow - we have a cheap Travelodge booked at Fleet for Tuesday night as our flight is around 1.30pm. We've been going in January for years and never had any problems with the weather up till now so I'm hoping we stay lucky. No sign of our tickets and travel docs yet though.ELITE 5:2

When you get a gift card you can apply it to your account (before you buy anything) and then the next purchase you make comes off of that gift card.
Go to your account and then 'Apply a Gift Certificate to Your Account' and then enter your code
