Only getting to this now. I was trouted twice at the weekend.

Friday evening - Tecso Metro - wouldn't take. He said we only take adsa and sains. I said, no you take cond spends from numerous stores. Check out manager said there is a new policy and we no longer accept them. I said, why does it say on a banner outside that you do (practically took him by the hand to show him). Contacted customer services, who said sorry, yes they should have taken them and we'll send you a £10 gift card. I said that's no compensation, for I am sitting here on a Friday night, gin-less.

Saturday morning - Tecso Ballygo - wouldn't take either, Spoke to deputy manager, she said there had been communication this week and they are not to be taken. Gave me a £5 as goodwill. Got home and spoke to customer services again, who said the managers are wrong and have not interpreted the policy correctly.

I think I will have to boycott Ballygo for a while anyway, cos I got really :mad:

    RANT OVER

It's getting to the point where I'm more worried about using coupons than coming across the rioters over here and my parents think I'm trying to excommunicate them by giving them dodgy coupons. I was in M&S yesterday and had a few spare fivers in my purse. I looked at them and figured the trouting I'd get trying to use them wasn't worth it so donated one to the guy in front. He was over the moon and the SA said it was a lovely thing to do. Could you imagine doing that in Ts

No update on FB from your last post - what a surprise. You have to laugh though. There were those who were worried that us NI folk would abuse the system to the extent the policy wouldn't be extended to mainland UK. Well not only have they withdrawn it from outside NI, they're extending it inside NI - allegedly. :rotfl: They must love us really :heart2:

No snow or even a hint of any to come.
Just taken the dog for a walk and spotted two sheep lying on their back and unable to get up.
They are huge.....obviously pregnant ...and far too heavy for me to lift, and having the dog with me, I didn't want to frighten them so I walked to the nearest farm knowing they weren't his sheep but belonged to the farmer a couple of miles away.
He thanked me for telling him and said he'd ring the other farmer but will probably be told to mind his own business!
They were still there on my way back, poor things. I hope the farmer they belong to gets there soon as they weren't moving much and could have been like it for ages. I'm tempted to get my husband to check them out if its not too dark when he gets home, but he's a bit of a wuss where livestock are concerned!

Can't you ring the RSPCA or maybe the fire brigade.
Sure I saw on here a while ago where firemen rescued a squirrel that got stranded in the floods.
    Hope they get helped soon.
