Just checked for my TPPs from yesterdays recs and I am now the proud owner of £1 from one of the smallest recs - plus a few points to go on. Still £1 will pay for filler items

One of my recs was over £80 and it was over £20 cheaper than items bought in Sada  Very surprising this. Ive listed all the items with the big price difference - larger price on the right is sadas - this is combination of 2 recs from over the weekend

Well it was snowing quite heavily here in Tamworth this morning, settling nicely, now sun has been out for an hour, bright blue skies and snow nearly all gone. Children will not be happy when they come home, they wanted to go sledging. Not hoping for more, as hate driving in it and need to go shopping tomorrow and boots sale Wednesday.

Happy birthday cjj, hope you are having a lovely day.

West is best, poor things in the vets, what ops are they having done if you dont mind me asking, probably missed it on here.

Logie, keep up your good spirits, and wishing you well.

Have Tesco improved their computer system lately?

Was on a whoopsie run when I found some Jalapeno Potato croquettes reduced to 0.65p that were stickered '2 Pizzas & 2 Sides £6', thought I might get the full promo discount applied of about £5.50 if I bought 2 pizzas aswell.

Bought the 2 pizzas for £3 each & the 2 sides for 65p each, total spend £7.30. Tescos till deducted £1.30 for the deal! Clever Tesco, no nearly free Pizza for me.

I'm afraid it's worked as it should, you should have got fresher croquettes :D

No snow or even a hint of any to come.
Just taken the dog for a walk and spotted two sheep lying on their back and unable to get up.
They are huge.....obviously pregnant ...and far too heavy for me to lift, and having the dog with me, I didn't want to frighten them so I walked to the nearest farm knowing they weren't his sheep but belonged to the farmer a couple of miles away.
He thanked me for telling him and said he'd ring the other farmer but will probably be told to mind his own business!
They were still there on my way back, poor things. I hope the farmer they belong to gets there soon as they weren't moving much and could have been like it for ages. I'm tempted to get my husband to check them out if its not too dark when he gets home, but he's a bit of a wuss where livestock are concerned!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

im feeling phsyically lots better, im just extreemly (text removed by MSE Forum Tream) off because although i was told id have a neuro appt within 2 weeks but they still cant give me an exact date yet....

the earliest appt / cancelation is 28th jan..apparently the NICE guidelines say you must be seen within 14 days of 1st seizure..

im hoping with the small dusting of snow there will be more cancellations...but the Drs secretary said he already has 14 people booked for 10 slots.

i just hope its epilepsy and nothing more serious...I JUST WANT TO KNOW...THE WAITING IS WORSE THAN THE ACTUAL FIT

its worrying isnt it, not sure what I would do either.

Is there a vets locally - probally not the large animal vets the local farmers use but maybe its worth a phone call to them as they might know who is the nearest vet is that deals with large animals. Then they could ring that practice and possibly track down the farmer whose sheep it might be.

It would bother me greatly, I'd have to go back without the dog to check on them. You have to be very carefully with very pregnant sheep as they can loose the lambs so easily.

When the geese at the farm down the road got out on the road I shoed and trotted them back into the field - yes vicious things but they went back to the field very nicely, hissing all the way :T

Whilst getting some points added today I managed to sneak a peak at the "daily pricing errors" clipboard at CS :D

I don't know what the expired deals were exactly so I don't know how worthwhile it is looking for these but DTD was paid out on the following today

    Smoked bacon
    Caesar salad
    Finest Pizza
Branston Beans (I think I remember someone saying this would be a profitable DTD if offer wasn't extended)
Lenor (I know some people were on the look out for this today)

    HTHs someone
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen

I would go back and tip them over, approach from the blind side and push over or if on an incline use it to your advantage, they should want to do this so it makes it easier, if left they will drown:(, poor things are probably getting quite exhausted if they have been like that a while.

Thanks for this. I have signed up and chosen my films. Decided to do rentals straight away as have up to 30 days to watch them and if I didn't I was bound to forget second rental and miss out on the points.
Quite pricey and would not normally use as lovefilm only costs £4.99 a month.

    Happy birthday cjj

Woke up to a nice sprinkling of snow down here near the white cliffs but been raining all afternoon. Had dentist thismorning anx pleased to know my broken tooth implant is covered and will not be costing me to replace. Dentist put a tempory one on for now as not comfy with screw sticking out of my gum. Only got to wait couple of weeks for new tooth to be ready.

Hope everyone is warm and safe.
