  • I got a dehydrater for Christm,as (I've wanted on for ages to play with!) Only 2nd time I have found ttime to play since, lol! Trouble is it takes sooooo long between preparing (Veg should be thinly sliced, blanched or dipped in lemon juice) Fruit to be cored, sliced soaked in mixture of fruit juice and water to keep flavour and colour for 2 minutes) and dehydrating, some thing it says can take as long as 36 hours to fully dehydrate:eek:

My apple slices were a sucess dipped in toffee sauce and we kept one to see how long it will keep, it's still alright over 2 weeks later in a airtight container, so it seems to work!:rotfl:

Latest update for NI folk re Ts coupon policy

So the latest update for NI shoppers using the Tesco competitor coupon policy is:
Officially Tesco stopped taking competitor coupons everywhere including mainland UK on January 10th.
Unofficially Tesco NI stores are still taking them.
Apparently Tesco were unhappy with the outcome of relaxing the policy outside NI so they pulled it. In NI they will be relaunching the coupon policy soon - officially.
So basically it's as you were. Staff will refuse to accept coupons when they feel like it regardless of any promo materials on display and Head Office will fob you off leaving you in no mans land, mortified at your treatment in store.

Just posted this on FB. Mum & me getting fed up with the runaround and lies

    Hiya

Only getting to this now. I was trouted twice at the weekend.

Friday evening - Tecso Metro - wouldn't take. He said we only take adsa and sains. I said, no you take cond spends from numerous stores. Check out manager said there is a new policy and we no longer accept them. I said, why does it say on a banner outside that you do (practically took him by the hand to show him). Contacted customer services, who said sorry, yes they should have taken them and we'll send you a £10 gift card. I said that's no compensation, for I am sitting here on a Friday night, gin-less.

Saturday morning - Tecso Ballygo - wouldn't take either, Spoke to deputy manager, she said there had been communication this week and they are not to be taken. Gave me a £5 as goodwill. Got home and spoke to customer services again, who said the managers are wrong and have not interpreted the policy correctly.

I think I will have to boycott Ballygo for a while anyway, cos I got really :mad:

We had a panic when hubby's wallet was lost once! He went everywhere he could think of that he'd been and had no luck, he was just about to cancel his cards when I went upstairs, made the bede and as I pulled the duvet cover up to cover the pillows it revealed his lost wallet where the duvet had covered it up!!!! So he really searched well!!!!:rotfl:
