Just taken Dd1 to the docs as she said her inhaler isn't working on her cough. He prescribed her some meds and I was gibbering on about making sure she remembers to take it all at school.
He replied 'oh no she's not going school today, she is very ill' making me look a complete lemon and feel soooo bad!
I feel like a really rubbish Mum now, I do have a habit of sending my kids to school unless their at deaths door but because her symptoms to me seemed so minor I wasn't worrying :(

Unfortunately for her it seems sledging is out of the question then - guess I'll just have to go in her place :D

dipdap never ever think you are a rubbish mum. You are a brilliant mum. How was you to know how ill she was.

    Good Morning All

Haven't read back, but been looking at the news. I was really moved by the sad passing of Alice Pyne - a truly courageous and inspirational young lady.

For some reason her story served to remind me that many people face adversity on a daily basis with equal courage and bravery.

I read that this morning too.
Saddens me at how unfair the world can be sometimes :(

    Morning :hello:

    Hope you're all keeping safe

I had a much better night. Pain subsided after a couple of ibuprofen and I was so tired that I got to sleep pretty easily. DS2 seems to have reinstated the 4am feed but trying to see it as the opportunity for an extra cuddle :D He won't want me in the night much longer. He's growing up too quickly, can't believe he'll be 6 months old next week  Doesn't seem like 5 minutes ago that Tigerwhite was doing the sweepstake for when he'd be born.
BTW hope you and Polly are ok Tiger, not spotted you post since I've been back x

Rhosynbach, am thinking of your and your DS today. Hope all goes well for the op and he is well looked after.

West is Best, hope the doggies ops go well

tweets, I LOVE those cupcakes! My best friend has a Bichon frise and would go mental if I could manage to make her something similar. Definitely going to have a shot at making some similar when I get around to it

    Take care everyone today x

  • Morning all. :)
We have snow :j:j my little man is going crazy for it. He's opened the doors god knows how many times already this morning to have a look :rotfl: Obviously I'm going to have to go out and play in it. Oh the hardships of being a parent :D

Hope everyone is keeping warm and driving safely.
