However, as a grumpy Scottish mse'er, I might just try a quick email to asad's just to test the water. Does anyone know the best email address I can contact?
Thanks.

Don't know the email but would like to say good luck. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
HMV is holding a massive sale from Saturday after admitting it could breach crucial banking conditions at the end of January.
The 25% Blue Cross Sale on CD’s, DVD’s, Blu-rays, box sets and games across 230 stores and online comes just weeks after the traditional Boxing Day sale.
Last month the company admitted it is likely to breach its banking covenant - throwing the entertainment retailer's financial future into doubt.

As I said, I really have no idea who is at fault, me for not judging the height of a normal looking kerb or Asad's for having an overly high one that wasn't obvious.
Really sorry about your loss here, but they will just argue what is the "standard" clearance at the front of a car, they all vary, my DS had a toyota that was just about kissing the tar:DThe person who never makes a mistake never learns anything.0 -

Thank you for the new thread - I always now await with anticipation as to what the new name will be.
My luck on wombling tonight - only popped to A for a few items and v. v. late on so only found 2 receipts. The first one, when unrolled, they bought only one item.
The second receipt seemed longer - I took it to my car, in darkness, and when I finally opened it out (it was a bit wet) - it had already been crossed out with APG written on it!! I noticed the shop itself had a previous manuf. coupon APG reduction on it - must have been one of you lot on here trying to stop me!!:D
Sum total for tonight: zero. I only bought 4 items myself tonight (with an APG) and you can definitely be sure that A was well cheaper by more than 10% on every one of the 4 items than all four competitors.
Anyway, better luck next time. I'm only just popping on here for a few mins. tonight so I'll also say welcome and catch up with you later as early night tonight.
Bye.0 -
