We need asda to put their prices up, way up and then we would be quids in .
Enough of all these rollbacks and 50p items :D

As I've mentioned before, the general public think these items at 50p are better value. However, the non-rollback Oreos (which were £1.39 last time I saw them in A) are better value - as well as being my preferred variety - as vs S makes them around the same price but they are a few grammes more.

The public think the Heinz soups at 50p each are good - but, as I explained to my SA on showing all my APGs earlier, M on the 4 pack Heinz tomato (which is £3 in A and therefore appears more costly than 4x 50p) is far better value, as M is £1.67 on the multipack and therefore 10% cheaper is around £1.50 for a 4pack multipack. In addition, the C&B multipack soups at T are £1.49 so they beat the Heinz rollback price per can if you need four (and they're often good to have avail. in the house anyway and go quickly - at least in my household they do) and S's own brand tomato soup multipacks are £1.50 each (or T's own brand vs S).

I've had enough of the rollbacks too!! Many of the 4 pack Cadbury chocolate packs are £1 in M - but the two I found most difficult to find in my A were the ones on dreaded rollback - my favourite Double Deckers, and the Cadbury's Flake. Took me some time to find them before I realised they'd moved them out to the gondola ends (I normally only look at those in other stores: to help with my A shopping). I easily found the Picnic and Twirls that are £1.75 in A, but those darned rollbacks were a bit annoying for a number of reasons, not least because I initially thought the Double Deckers were out of stock and had more trouble finding them.

The only use of the 50p items has been to help me get £1.73 PP back out of a T moneycard - I'm pleased at that but it isn't half messing up with APGs and some items not on rollback work out actually cheaper (via APG) than the 50p the public is generally going for. At least my shopping is cheaper than what the public are thinking they're getting!:rotfl:

very true! sada is way too cheap at the moment!

Not actually... it's better value buying the more expensive items (that are cheaper elsewhere)!!:rotfl::rotfl: (see my previous post.)

But Sada is relying on the everyday shopper to just buy and not be savvy.

Another lurker on a late New Years resolution to join in if that's OK - Will try to post something useful at some point!!!!

Just wanted to mention to Spiraling Down regarding the dogs - DAP (Adaptil) also have collars available which mean the happy hormones would surround her and hopefully calm her the whole time. These collars are really long even for big dogs so you can cut off the end and put it somewhere like her bed so the effects are increased there. Good luck!

Welcome and thank you for the info on the collars, I had been looking at them but decided that the diffuser would be the best for today but I will get her one of these to I'll just check out they prices instead of just buying it like I did today - £30ish (can't remember exact price as i just said 'i'll take one of those' and put my card in :o) poorer but hopefully have a settled and happy dog soon
    SPC #329 £471/£500 banked
    SPC 2014 £1100:D

Does cat nip not make cats a bit frisky, not sure what effect it would have on humans.
