went to Poole store which opened a couple of weeks ago, it had small freezer section. Have never been to HB before, looked to me a bit like the rubbish you get in Poundland but more expensive, with the occasional bargain as well?0

Lots of bargains to be had in both stores - you just have to see past the bits of "rubbish" as you call them.
I guess it depends how much you are prepared to pay for things...0 -

I find HB far superior to our local Poundland. I can buy recognisable branded items at great prices.

I agree, I bought 290ml Lea and Perrins Worcester Sauce in HB today for £1.49 it is £2.15 in the big supermarkets. Worringly they had run out of Nicky toilet roll, think the word might be out :eek:0 -

My Tesco has started selling Nicky & they've put a competition on the pack too. Both sure signs the brand is on the up (and will prob get more expensive!)0 -
