they were just as you walk in on a metal card stand.
Thank you so much - that's my 'local' (60 mile round trip) - now I just have to persuade my husband that a trip to Retford would be Fun as my knee is still not letting me drive.0 -
I purchased this and the normal tan as well they both quite nice not to dark so brilliant for fair skin. It gives an instant colour then develops darker. Not tried the Little White Lie yet myself i've got tons of tan so need to shift some first.
Also the Virtual Brand perfumes aren't brilliant they really don't last long. They smell nice but aren't that close to the orginals. But for 89p are ok to use for your room or bathroom.
I haven't seen the normal tan, will keep an eye to see if they get anymore in, will be great for winter :A0 -

The stand was looking well thinned out by 11 o'clock this morning. All the £1.99 books had gone, and there were just 2 Friends @ 99p left.0 -
Am going to have a look at my local for the Lego books. I got a couple for my son for Xmas, he just loves Lego and it will bulk up his Xmas stocking as he isn't getting much this year. I'm hopefully getting him one Lego set if he can make up which one it is that he wants! I have two HB nearby so will try and plan a trip to both cos I'm sure they will get snapped up quickly.0

The Stechford branch had the lego books in this morning they were in the normal stationery aisle. They had a hardback one for £1.99, an Olivia Friends one, and three paperback type boys ones. Sorry cant remember exact names as they are hidden in the boot of the car.0

For anyone interested in craft bits -
I found the E-Z transfers yesterday but they also had Embellishments and Stickers (the padded sort). Same sorts of packs but different designs on the packet header. Looked like they had been in separate piles at one point but they had been mixed up.
Stickers were 12p but the Embellishments were 19p.
The ones I looked at had been well picket over, no fairies or heart ones and the Christmas ones were very limited.
I also found some small clear sheets of (rubber) stamps.
From memory they were 29p, about 3" x 2.5" with approx 7 stamps on each, at least 3 different designs suitable for card making. Sorry I can't remember exactly what but I think one was Christmas and one wedding.0 -
Wow, great to learn the crafty bits are on a bargain offer! There's a HB in Leeds city centre just down from where I work, so will pop in there. Anyone know if these EZ transfers are the rub on type, with a lollipop stick?0
