Delighted to notice in the Southport store that they now sell fruit and vegetables. I think all the packs of fruit where £1. I bought nectarines, and noticed apples, grapes, pears and oranges (or they may have been tangerines, I didn't look closely.)

(edited to ask, do all the stores now sell fruit and veg. and I'm the last person to notice?)

My local one (Newton Abbot, Devon) certainly wasn't up to last week.

Lovely 'colours' kitchen equipment in Livingston today including scales, bins, onion chopper, salad spinner, mandolin. Can't remember all the price points but salad spinner was £3.99. And if you don't want to spin salad you could always create art!
Dont waste your money on the onion chopper its not much good :(

As of last week there was no fruit and veg in the Keighley store either. And we have quite a large store.

A while back someone mentioned their store had started selling chilled and frozen food and there is no sign of that happening either!

It was me that had mentioned about the chilled and frozen food, also at the Southport store. We went back today to get a refund on some faulty kitchen scales, and I asked a manager how long they had been selling the fruit and veg. He said is was approx. a month.

I wonder if it is the only store with the chiller cabinets, freezer and fruit and veg? If so, the reason may be to attract customers as there are 2 supermarkets very close by.
  • The home bargain's at Fleetwood (next to freeport) have a chiller/frozen section. Not sure if they have started selling fruit/veg though as I've not been recently.
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)

  • Enrapture Totem Encode Styler £17.99 found in Doncaster store, confirmed to be in others.

Originally around £75 (currently selling in Boots for £39.99), great xmas present idea.
  • Yes I picked up one of the Enrapture Totem Stylers for £17.99, great bargain because I was looking at getting one of these at around £50! Theres loads of tutorials on youtube showing how to use it.

Also can recommend the Vive Soy milk at 29p
