Not sure if posted but in our store an hour ago I have just picked up some mr Kipling angel cakes for 59p. Even better that they are packs of 9 not 6.

has anyone tried the candles in jars, look like yankee candles
  • Yes my better half buys them. They smell good (well the ones she has bought have) & last a long time. For £2.99 it is worth giving it a shot I would say

I had one that was better than the other. Can't remember the previous one but I remember the smell was strong enough, like Yankee candles. It may have ben a cinammon type. The most recent was a pink one, which I didn't think smelled that strong and also didn't burn equally so was left with lots of wax once wick had burnt out. That's common with candles of course but the previous one had burnt a lot better.

    So, a mixed experience!
  • Second the above. I can't remember the exact scent but as the above post states the cinnamon & something fragrance is probably the nicest. Good for the months ahead too!
