    £1 in sealed pot for each UU (2011 135/500:D) 2012 have UU 130/400 (never realised I had a mini chemist under my bed!!!) :rotfl:2013 UU 156/350. 2014 UU 197/250 2015 UU 16/100

Nursing is a work of heart by angels in comfortable shoes!!! :)
  • I found a different design of the bookmark:

    2781.jpg

They comprise two pieces of card - decorated both sides - joined by a fold at the top. The back of each piece of card has a small magnet attached.

I think the idea is that you fold the thing around the page you want to mark and the magnets click together so that, even if you drop the book, you don't lose your page. Ingenious!

They are very nicely made with metallic highlights on the card. Original RRP was £2.99 , so for 10p I think they are brilliant!

Also: has anyone else come across these?

Clear Choice stamps for crafting - a set of ten. This is: 'Ornate Scrollwork' but I also found: 'Friends forever', 'A Gift for you', 'Special Occasions', 'A Trip to Paris', 'Bathtime'. Each set has nine or ten separate stamps in.

These seem to retail for up to £10 (gulp!) - even at Hobbycraft, stamps are £1 each.

So bless you, Home Bargains, for offering them at 29p.

    Hours of fun:)

I got one of these oven gloves today for £1.99. Not particularly a fan of Corrie, but I will use them happily for that price. They are red inside and nice and thick.

They also had aprons and tea towels; around £1.99 too I think.

I agree magnetic bookmarks are ingenious and once you've used one you wont want to go back to a normal bookmark. Only be warned these seen strong until you use them. The cut out in the fold makes them way too flimsy to last long, there is hardly anything connecting the back and front together.
Though great for trying out magnetic bookmarks work.
