HELP - Parking Ticket in Aylesbury

She's got it, I do believe she's got it. Cue for a song.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
I got a fake ticket from these mobsters in another car park not a million miles from you!
To date I have had seven threatening scam letters from them, they are like a chameleon too. They change from UKPC, to Debt Recovery Plus, and then into Zenith Debt Recovery, though in reality the same bunch of scammers!
They have no idea what the word final means as I have had three final warnings from them.
Just hold your nerve and relish that ignoring them is actually costing them money.
Eventually they will crawl back under the stone they crept out of.0 -
So I've now received my 3rd letter from DRP Ltd, 'Reduced Payment Offer' which laughably is £30 more expensive than the 'penalty' originally issued. I am continuing to ignore them as per everyones advice, although it does make me nervous everytime I see one of these. If anyone is still looking at this thread I have a question..... how can they prove you've received these letters since they aren't even sent registered post ?!
So I guess I'll wait for another installment0 -
You will get one or two from zenith who are dr+ trying to pretend they are somebody else then end of scam for youWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.

There's no such thing as registered post, not these days. I guess you mean why don't they use Recorded Delivery?
Because these are computer-generated template letters, churned out in their THOUSANDS each week by DRP who also chase up 'legit' debts too, as well as scam ones like fake parking tickets. Then they try a few more salvos, using Zenith letter heading to make it look like the 'debt' has been sold on to another company (it hasn't).
They are not going to waste money on Recorded Delivery for thousands of speculative cheap template threats - the whole point of which is simply a scattergun mailshot, to flush out some payments from a % of scared victims who can't tell the difference between a debt collector (pen pusher) and a bailiff.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yep, as Stroma says two more to come and then they will fly off and infest some other poor victim and leave you alone. So I've now received my 3rd letter from DRP Ltd, 'Reduced Payment Offer' which laughably is £30 more expensive than the 'penalty' originally issued. Of course they don't know that you have actually received their threats, but even legit letters from the police for speeding offences are only sent normal mail these days.
I was in this car park a couple of weeks ago, their fake warden in his oversized jacket was hiding waiting to pounce at every opportunity to add to his incentive bonus. Worry ye not!0 -
