Orange vs T-Mobile
Options
Having been with Orange for years and coming to my contract end, I've been looking into deals available. With the exception of the month or so when EE was launched (which made it hard to get hold of Orange), they have been excellent.
Looking at the straight facts, on the surface of it the T-Mobile deal I'm looking at is a better. I used to steer clear of them as their coverage was awful, but since they both use the same network now (EE) then I assume the coverage would be identical. I just wondered if anyone else knew what th differences were? I assume it'll be a different customer services number and website I'd use for my billing. But I'm wondering if there are any gotcha's or other differences I don't know about.
Thanks,
David

They run as separate brands, therefore have different customer service etc... but use the same network, so as you say coverage will be identical. As I understand it from when the companies merged, the T-Mobile brand would be aimed at consumers, particularly the more budget end of the scale, with Orange being aimed as a premium brand. I wouldn't however anticipate any problems with using one over the other.0

customer service staff have been merged and they now use the same IT system. The stores also service and sell both brands. If you keep on doing what's you've always done, you'll keep on being what you've always been...:think:0

Sounds good so far then. I assume it's just extras like minor things such as magic numbers and Orange Wed's etc I'd lose really.0
