I remember thinking a couple of years ago when Global Test Market surveys would mostly pay around 30 points on average and redemption was 1000 points that you would only need to do on average 33 surveys to reach redemption. I would get around that number of surveys invites in around 2-3 days, but I think the quickest its taken me to get to redemption is around a month, so that shows just how many screenouts I get. It goes without saying that its annoying if you complete a survey and get screened out, but even doing a handful of questions before getting screened out of 10 surveys is wasting time as well.
The incentives are getting worse too. The 30 point surveys on Global Test Market are now 22 points and the 1000 point redemption went up to 1100 points for the same amount of money. Even when I first signed up to Global Test Market I remember people on here saying the incentives were getting worse and use used to get a small number of points for a screenout, which would be quite handy given the number I get.
As a rule I try to avoid long surveys unless the pay is decent, I'd rather do four 5 minute surveys than a 20 minute one.
I find the surveys on the rewards site like swagbucks the worst, just the other day I saw a 25 minute survey for 17 swagbucks which equates to 8p, I think even the most desperate people would happily say thanks but no thanks to 8p.
The bottom line is that I do surveys because I need the extra money, and the survey companies know this is the reason most of their members do their surveys so they take advantage.
Can you recommend some good earning sites please, with short surveys etc...
Who/what do you recommend.

I have started to use panelbase, they do quite a lot, however they are pretty much all (so far) max £1.20 reward for 15-20 minutes.
Is that about average?0 -

Unfortunatly not...
Panelbase seems to pay better than average because £1.20 for 15-20 minutes is about £3.60 to £4.80 per hour.
For example..
I see Opinion Outpost gives 10 points for a 20 minute survey. 10 points is £0.50 so that is only a rate of about £1.50 an hour.
MintVine has a lot of surveys that give 50 points for a 20 minute survey. You need 1000 points to earn $10, so 50 points is $0.50 which is a rate of $1.50 per hour. £1.14 an hour??0 -
so is nothing else as easy as google rewards?mmmm free stufffffffff0

Hi
Does anyone do surveys for e-rewards ? Have just had an email from Nectar with an invite (sorry, invitational only so can't post a link) but the fact that they haven't been mentioned makes me think may not be worthwhile.
Anyone have any experience with them ?

I have been with them for over a year now and quite like them, I usually get at least one invitation a day. If you like valued opinions you will like e-rewards. ( I think they are both owned by the same company). You can cash out at minimum 1000 nectar points (£5) or build it up to 5000 points and they give you £27.50 so it's worth waiting to cash out.0 -
Mark, it looks helpful!0
