Has anyone experienced problems accessing surveys since upgrading to Windows 10/Internet Explorer 11? Since I upgraded I constantly get messages back when clicking on survey links telling me I am using an unsupported browser, or I am trying to take the survey from an unsuitable device. I only ever do surveys on my desktop PC.

I have emailed one or two survey companies but they just suggest clearing my browser/cookies/cache but that doesn't make any difference. Also adding them to Incompatibility View doesn't make a difference.

If anyone has any experience of this and any suggestions I'd be very grateful, it's getting extremely frustrating. Thanks if anyone can help :-)

    eldaniel, thats a brilliant guide.

I can't see the value in doing surveys, all the sites offer such little rewards for the effort.

I think i'm going to give Yougov a go and see if I can complete one per day. If I am able to complete 1 survey each day, 7 days a week, how much can I expect to earn?

i would disagree its what you put in

I have had 50 from yougov
    35 from uk toluna
    around 20 from opinion outpost
and 25 from opinium research all in the last month
    debts 16550
    Mortgage 69500
  • Surveys can be a good way of making extra money but so frustrating when you get part way through and then kicked out! I've joined swagbucks and do their surveys and also I like the ones from panelbase.net - i recently got paid £15 for doing a survey on hair dye, this included qualifying survey, agreeing to test the product at home and then carrying out three surveys about the product over the next three weeks. I use home hair dye anyway so it wasn't a hassle, the only frustrating thing was that I really loved the hair dye but they wouldn't tell me which one it was so I could buy it myself!

No not less OnePoll surveys, but for the 10p, 15p and 20p they seems to ask more questions than they used to.

As a general point would others here say they are happy the way most surveys are run.
i.e., that you spend a varying amount of time answering questions and then more often than not get kicked out without any compensation?
My impression is that they get a pretty good deal, using up so much of my time without having to pay anything. I am not convinced that the answers they say are rejected aren't actually used!
But in any case, shouldn't they pay me for any time they use me?
Some companies do pay even if they kick me out, but often though they may say "5 points", but that turns out to be about 2p!
Isn't it time that we are appreciated for all the time we put in and not run in a lottery to see if we will be accepted in the survey and only then be paid?

Do Ipsos i-Say pay via Paypal or only gift cards?

From what I've read online they pay via Paypal, but in the Rewards section I don't see any option for this.
  • No PayPal. Only vouchers.
  • it's on the Free Postcode Lottery 'bonus' page.. Good luck. I've been a member for a while and it's fab...
