wearuk55..take the advice given here,you've done nothing wrong,ukpcs has NOT suffered any loss because its NOT thier land so they cant "charge" you irrespective if you were parked in or out of lines bays etc,the only loss they have suffered is that YOU have found this forum and gotten "wised"up to thier pathaetic scam and will NOT pay
Give them a kick up the jacksie with the correctedly worded letter to the retail park as suggested or better still get a POPLA reference that costs THEM money and MAKE them pay.Ive had loads of these "fines" and not paid any of them so they dont even bother to notify me of any contravention because they must think they wont bother with me because im not an easy touch so ive fooled em now by changing my vehicle and will await the forthcoming "begging" letters.
One more thing for you to do now is to spread the news of this forum to everyone you know.
Did anyone see that programme the other night called "parking mad"? Now we see micro cars on the streets with some sort of "up periscope" camera on them to try and get more money out of unsuspecting motorists who momentarily contravene the regulations...huh..whatever next? cameras on yer rubbish bins or maybe cameras in a rock by the side of the road?0 -
