Your'e exactly the kind of unhealthy eater that the NHS campaign Change4Life is aimed at.

There's are reasons why Scotland has a lower life expectancy than England in places like Glasgow..

Deep-fried pizza is rank, gross and probably as unhealthy as deep-fried Mars bars.

Actually, as far as I'm aware we have no idea what kind of eater the OP is? They've given no details on other things they eat or how much. This is just one thing they have mentioned. Anyway, I'm not saying they eat healthy or not, I don't know, but it's only fair to keep an open mind.

Saw this advertised (in scotland). Went on to register and get their 'meal mixer' receipe book but disappointingly only for England :(
England get healthy receipes, scotland get deepfried pizza. Woo.

I personally haven't tried this, but what deep frying a calzone?

You roll out pizza dough, put your topping on, fold over and seal the edges. I'm guessing you would have to heat the heal to a high temperature. Place calzone in till golden brown and drain.

I'm just assuming you cook them like a samosa or onion bhaji. Just make sure you don't over fill or make the pastry to sloppy.
Never tried deep fried pizza before, to be honest doesn't sound like my thing. But each to they own.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Italians have panzerotti. They are fried, not pizza but like ...savory doughnuts. Light, and IMO best with just a tiny bit of mozzerella and a small bit of tomato They are lots of recipes for them, mght they do?.

Chippy,s here in the NW of Ireland will deep fry just about everything if you ask, but then there are very close ties with Scotland here.

However as a Londoner living here, I miss a pie :(. Can't get a peter's or pukka pie for love nor money :(

I got all excited when I saw pastie for sale, but it wasn't Cornish, was a battered deep fried something

But omg, the chips here, to die for :j

NI Pasties are potato sausage meat and pink food coloring. I think. Battered snickers nicer than mars! Good luck op, everything in moderation :)

    Lolololololololol

I do really miss a lovely soggy peters pie , upside down on the plate and tomato sauce covering the base yum yum yum

When I visit London my diet is rubbish, first stop an Indian meal. At my favourite Indian restaurant, next night it's pie and chips, and I slip a real proper doner kebab in if I can for good measure

There are Indians and kebab shops here, but they are just not the same as I'm used to. Regional variance is very noticeable
