Losing Weight Q&A

I will get to my goal for summer then I can buy some lovely new clothes to show off the new slimmer me!
And drop your old fat clothes off at oxfam so they are not at the back of the wardrobe for an emergency.
Then if you get fat again there will be nothing to wear, that should keep you motivated.0 -
I just really wanted to tell someone that as of this morning when I weighed myself - I have now lost 3 stone!!!
I had a really unhealthy diet before I started trying to loose weight so my aim was to become healthier as well as lighter. I have acheived this in 4 months so I have had to be quite strict with myself, but because I can see and feel the results that motivates me to keep going. I love Kate Moss's quote and I agree because although i really LOVE my food I actually love feeling slimmer more! I was actually inspired by the Hairy Dieters as they are total "foodies" so if they can do it anyone can. Some of their recipes are great and you can get them free online - the curry is lush!
I would also say try not to deprive yourself of everything you love because then you are more likely to fall off the diet wagon. I bought some thin gingerbread biscuits (25cals each) and if I really want something sweet I have just one of those and that helps me feel better. Likewise I have a packet of weightwatchers crinkle crisps if I am craving crisps. Having a little of what you like of something not too naughty can sometime just keep you going and prevent you from gorging.
I want to lose another 1 1/2 stone to get within the healthy BMI range. Hopefully I will get to my goal for summer then I can buy some lovely new clothes to show off the new slimmer me! Good luck to everyone who is trying to lose weight - its tough but we can all do it!
You are an amazing person, well done! :T:T:T:T0 -

Very good point - yes anything which is now too big for me has already gone to the charity shop. I don't ever plan to be that size again and if I am I will have to face the shame of going shopping for bigger clothes - which will hopefully be enough of an incentive to keep the weight off!0
