Perhaps simmed, with some careful planning, you could build yourself a gym in your underground rifle range. Bit of shooting then a few squats, another few head shots followed by some bench presses. A workout even Al Kyeeder and his mates would be proud of.

Are you going to pay for this for me? ;)

No, you've got plenty of cash to get the project done.

I'm calorie counting, as want to shift 1/2 a stone. I've had a peanut butter sandwich (approx 325 calories), 3 cups of coffee with a teaspoon sugar (total approx 75 calories), plus a M&S 'count on us' ready meal (dim sum, 305 calories) so far today.

I will have another count on us meal tonight (Bengali cod curry, 325 calories). This makes a total of 1030 calories for the day, whilst eating filling meals.

I'm not a fan of ready meals generally, although like M&S's; these were on 3 for 2 (so money-saving :p), and is a last ditch attempt to lose those lbs. Tomorrow will be HM soup. I will fit into all my size 10's by the month end. :T

No need to suffer whilst losing weight. :D

I've lost 13lbs since I got my foster doggie at the end of October.

Sadly it is weight I had gained after having my op in the summer as I wasn't able to go swimming for a long while.

I don't care what anyone says but for me exercising outdoors is key to weight loss.

I'm reading a book at the moment which is claiming that people who have at least a twenty minute walk outside daily also consume less carbs and sugars which further assists weight loss.
Here dead we lie because we did not choose

Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
    And we were young.

Thats good news ruby, I do at least an hours walking each weekday with the school run, shopping etc. I wasn't sure if it counted. I'm going to start tracking my mileage with a pedometer.

Well done on your weight loss!

Well I've been following the 5:2 Intermittent Fasting diet for around 6 months and I've lost two stone. On Mondays and Wednesdays I restrict myself to 500 calories or so. I have also cut down on the amount of processed foods that I eat, and have been doing more home cooking, because I think that it is these ultra-refined foods that are the main culprit in the obesity epidemic. I've also been trying to increase my vegetable intake and reduce the amount of refined carbs that I eat (so for lunch, instead of having a ham sandwich I now eat a stack of raw veggies with some home-made hummus).

Increasing your fruit and veg really does help as does keeping a food diary.

I don't bother with that now I'm walking about three hours a day but it really helped me lose weight initially - I've lost over three stone but if I hadn't gained it would probably be four which is sad.

    Anyway well done you!
