home visit request by DWP

hi there

can i ask what will happend if you missed a DWP home visit and its 7 days notticed.would they accept a good couse.(im panicing alot,but i couldn't be aloan on my own with myself for christmas/new year .i went to be with my friend). many thanks

    - get in touch, ring them and do it quickly, no benefit to you to put it off
    - didn't they give you any notice of their visit ?, and if so why didn't you ring them and postpone it at the time ?
    - just ring them and tell them truth and see what happens but do it ASP, best of luck !

    in a letter they saying that they will stop paying £130 from desember,they asking me to contact home visitor office ASAP,and i tried but no reply yet, i left a voicmail,,,,i like to say that didn't know if i have to let them know.i always been thinking you have 4 weeks time to reply i mean for any letter.and to be hounest it was christmas i coulden't stay home on my own so i was staying with friend ,my wife always deal with mails/telephons as i have panic order,and other issues , but she went holliday(she hasn't come back yet,her tickets prove that),,, i don't know if i have to contact DWP myself.

    Sam my friend, you know you must contact them, you had an appointment and did not keep it. Have they already stopped your £130 payment ? If your wife is not there to help, do it yourself, even if you make a complete hash of the phone call .. .. at least you made an attempt and it will be in your favour and recorded as your contacting them for a re-appointment request.

    Check you bank .. .. !
