Help with HTC Desire

My OH has a Samsung Europa or similar model and just bought an S3. The S3 has a smaller Sim so cannot just swap them and transfer contacts. In theory there was a contacts transfer gadget supplied withthe S3 only course there wasn't one in the box. In the end we did it with Bluetooth - pointed old phone at PC, uploaded Contacts and then using Bluetooth downloaded again onto the new phone.

I know how you felt, however I managed to learn how to root my Desire by reading on various forums and websites.

I now have a 32gb mini SD card in my Desire, of which 1gb is being used now by my Desire to install apps that were only available to go on internal memory. Also upgraded the Desire to Jelly Bean too

Only annoying issue is the battery life is still rubbish - but the Juice Defender app seems to have helped that out
