That's just brilliant!
I wouldn't, but I expect a lot of people will be drawn in by her status on it.
Were probably looking at the next "horse bolted" FSA type regulation here....just it won't happen until the situation is completely dire. Adverts are full of pay day loans....whats more, websites are now signing up with wonga, so you can take a loan for the products at the point of buying, instead of using other payment methods.0 -
It's disgusting that after going through her own financial troubles she would promote a pay day loans service. Mind you she's likely to put people off so it could be a good thing!0

'The reason I was happy to work with CashLady is that they're committed to being a responsible part of the industry.
Well with an interest rate of a very reasonable 2,670 per cent you go girl.0 -
Maybe she couldn't pay hers back so she had to front the ad campaign to cover the interest paymentsNice to save.0

Or maybe getting staff discount - lower interest rate than the other borrowersJohn0

Consumer credit won't be transferred to the FCA until 2014 - the OFT is responsible for it at the moment and will be for the next year. A consumer credit licence costs about thruppence ha'penny so you can imagine how much regulation that pays for.0 -
in fairness to kk she's never tried to pass herself off as any kind of financial/numbers expert. that's why some people, me included, found the carol vorderman endorsement offensive.FACT.0

Interesting point. when you take payment for advertising a product, do you have any connection for any problems that arise with people using the product or is the actor/actress/celebriteeeee disconnected from the product entirely?
If people get into trouble as a result of this product then it will bite her in the bum and harm her standing (is that possible?)
Despite Kerry not having tried to make any bones she's a financial whizz there will obviously be people buying the product on the basis she is endorsing it otherwise they would not have used her.0 -

as a rule i'd imagine not but if anyone's capable of signing a dud contract somehow making them liable for failings of the company they're endorsing then it's surely KK....Despite Kerry not having tried to make any bones she's a financial whizz there will obviously be people buying the product on the basis she is endorsing it otherwise they would not have used her.
true enough. but i suppose that if used properly these services are useful to some people some of the time.FACT.0
