I tried to read the manufactures instructions but still don't understand why the temp is 60 . Why doesn't hot water dial do anything.

I wanted to know if my!!hot water was wasting!!because i set it to come on too often. There are four people living in the house . My question was relating to if I was turning the timer on too often for hot water . I want Just enough hot water for the day . to do normal things shower dishes etc.

You could set it to be on 24 hours a day. It will cost a little more but it won't cost that much more than timing it and potentially running out of hot water if each of the four people in your house decided to have a bath after one another and the hot water was not set to reheat immediately.

The temp where? The boiler will heat water to well over 60 degrees then pumps the very hot water around your cylinder transferring heat from the very hot water to your cooler cylinder water until the water in your cylinder reaches 50 and the thermostat stops calling for heat.

The hot water stat on the boiler front does absolutely nothing on these boilers, unless you have a VR65 unit fitted, which with a Megaflo you wont.

It is best to leave it set to minimum and forget about it.

The hot water temperature is set on the thermostat on the Megaflo.
