Also, can I go back to the Halifax branch and say others are getting £5 Rewards on multiple accounts. ?Just changing my signature here !!:D0

I suspect very much that they won't care (or admit) that others get the fivers. Nor would you have any legal claim on the grounds that you read on an Internet forum that others got the fivers.
You have a right to expect that Halifax comply with their T&Cs. If you are sure that you have delivered against all the requirements stipulated in the T&Cs, raise a formal complaint. They'll then have 8 weeks to sort things to your satisfaction, and if they don't, you can take them to the FOS.
If Halifax "bump off" many people, I am sure they could end up with many complaints / many escalations to the FOS. But may be they are banking on people giving up because it's only £60 a year.0 -

@Dru2, when did your DDs start paying out? I set mine up in January* and they've been paying out since February...so 3-4 months of activity prior to D-Day.
* On my 3 'extra' accounts...the 1st one is my main bills account anyway (salary in/several DDs out).0 -
Wow!! Be still my beating heart . 'Yorkshire Boy' and 'Innovate' talking to little me. You are my heroes (among others). I never thought this day would come. Thanks.
To answer you. I believe my 2 x DDs (on the extra two Hali Reward Accounts I have) were set up before D day - as you call it - but, didn't pay out until May. However, not being as on the ball as you all seem to be, I must check this before 'visiting' the branch again. I know the Tesco Saving accounts DDs were ....'difficult' to set-up. They appeared to want a urine sample and DNA to prove identity. I'll sign off asking you all my silly queries which you have been kind enough to answer and get onto it. Wish me luck. As Yorkshire Boy says, it's so nice when they pay the Rewards. It's not for the Canaries (lucky lad - yorkshire boy) it's more that I rely on it for the bills.Just changing my signature here !!:D0
