  • well done verity, they look great, especially in the timescale you was working to!

ive started another of my projects tonight, the decopatch photoframe for my friend for xmas.

it is actually a set of three that hang down on string one under another if that makes sense?! they are cream coloured squares with a big heart cut out for the picture to go in.
managed to get them in the wilkos sale (amongst many many other things :T) for 50p!
i got a pack of 20 napkins from morrisons for £1 which has a red and pink roses on and a 75p bottle of pva glue.

so far i have finished one of the frames and its only taken half a napkin so this is turning out to be a very cheap present :T:T:T
it looks really nice, and i plan on putting a pic of my kids in each frame nearer the time, which she would love.

hopefully will get the other two done tomorrow and just a spray of varnish and hopefully theyll be finished by friday.

this thread is keeping me very inspired and encouraging me to actually craft instead of looking at other peoples things and thinking 'id like to do that' so thank you everyone for keeping me going!

  • i will try and upload pics tomorrow, never done it before!

i have finshed the decopatching and just need to spray them with plasticote (i have no idea if this will do the job, but ive got a bottle in...) in morning when theyre dried and put the strings back in.

i thing this could be my new favourite thing. its so effective for someome like me who wants to create and craft but isnt the neatest. i just slapped it on and ive got a great result! tempted to keep them myself!
