Added gobbygal to the list, after a bit of a panic lol
I keep 2 pages open fot this thread, one page is where I last read up to, and the other is for updating the list, so I went to the other page to update the list and had a panic as I thought I had deleted all the names, then I realised all the names and updates were in post #2 and not in the opening post lol

Anyways all updated, I think, let me know if I've missed you out, I also fixed Scuff's name yesterday, sorry, I had you down as Scruff :o

hi all, i hope you dont mind another one to join in.

i have a few plans for this year craftwise. i am currently learning myself (well, youtube is) to knit. i used to knit when i was a child but finding it very difficult to get 'even' at the minute.

i also plan to get to grips with my sewing machine. and when i say get to grips, what i mean is, learn to sew a straight line :rotfl:which is very very difficult for me!

i also want to give decoupage a try too after seeing a demonstration in hobbycraft.

so here is my list, which pretty much depends on how well i learn the above!
    1. sew myself a bag
    2. knit a knitting needles case for myself
    3. knit a hat, scarf and wristwarmers for friend for xmas
    4. knit a hot water bottle cover for friend for xmas
    5. decopatch photo frames for friend for xmas and myself
    6. sew aprons for mum and stepdad
    7. make oven gloves for mum and stepdad
    8. decorate plague of wood with words 'the XXXXXX's believe' for mum and stepdad and also one for us. the X being our surnames.
    9. make 2 x tea advent calenders for mum and stepdad
    10. make some kind of christmas tree decorations for mum and stepdad
    11. sew a large christmas stocking for mum and stepdads gifts to go in.
    12. finish the christmas themed placemats i started last year and never got round to finishing!
    13. sew fabric advent calenders for my kids santa, fairy and penguin themed to match their stockings.
wow quite a lot of plans when i see it written down!

the stuff for my mum and stepdad is to go in a hamper which im dubbing the 'lets get ready for christmas hamper' which i will be giving them on the 1st december. im unsure as yet whether to wrap everything and number so they have a present everyday or just give it all in one go!

i shall be spending some more time with my knitting tonight and the kids are being shipped off to nana and grandads on saturday so i plan to spend the whole day figuring out my sewing machine!

    Wow Verity

Started my stitching for Sandy Hook and don't think I have enough aida - I had but closer inspection of the material it has a border on it - edge of the material - seller had included that as part of the size - bummer.

Get paid soon so hopefully can buy some more.

    Kind wishes to all,

    sweetcarer ;)
