zepsgal take a deep breath gather all the stuff you need about you have a sketch of the shape you are wanting to achieve and perhaps lay it out till you are happy with it then make a start transfering it across as you are gluing it in place. im sure it will look brilliant. just give yourself enough time so you dont end up rushing it.
cant wait to see the finished result.SPC~12 ot 124

Hi everyone,
Well done to everyone on their progress.
I haven't posted for a while but have been reading every day. I'm making progress with my cross stitch and managing a pair of 'pantalons' every couple of days - a picture would make it all clear but I don't know how to post oneMy cross stitch is a french one with a washing line full of bloomers with the days of the week in french over the top and some flowers and other decorative bits at the bottom.
My gorgeous heart shaped buttons arrived today too so I've started setting them out in a big heart pattern ready for my collage/picture. I know it probably doesn't really count as craft as I'm only sewing them onto a piece of fabric and framing it but they're so splendid I'm really looking forward to it. The lovely ebay seller put some extra ones in with them in a smaller size too so I need to think of how best to use them as well now. At the moment I just keep touching them. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
Hi guys,
Just a quick update.
I'm on my third 49 row knitted square for the large blanket for my dear best friend as a moving in gift
Lovely to see everyone's crafts coming along

Right, I have updated everyone, but if I have got you wrong or missed you out please let me know.
Just a little pointer, to help make it easier for me as I don't check every day, but could you make it absolutely clear when you have completed a project please.
Either type it in red or make the font larger or re-post your list with a smilie at the end of the completed projects, thank you!
I have completed 2 now, but forgot to take a pic of the second one before I sealed it up, it's just a freebie cover kit from WOXS, the diary of an edwardian thingie that came free a couple of issues ago.

Also, just to mention, chemo went well, eventually. My chemo was supposed to start at 11am and finish and 3pmish, well I didn't get hooked up until 12 and the poison took longer to get pumped through, so it was 5.45pm by the time we left and 6.30pm by the time we got home! So I wasn't too happy about that. Though I did get enough morphine to last me the rest of my chemo! Which is, I think 6 sessions.
Achey arms and legs again, and my hair is starting to fall out, which I'm not too bothered about to be honest.
PS. Everyone's projects are lovely!

Hi I'd like to join this challenge although I may not reach 13 items.
I started the New Year planning to take up craft work as a New years resolution but my enthusiasm has waned :-(
I have managed to make a few mosaic/decorated tea light glasses which I was very proud of, I also have a patchwork quilt and a crochet blanket on the go but haven't done any of them for a few weeks - must get re started.SPC 6 # 1850 £2 coin saving challenge #119

2. The 12 Days of Christmas Stitchery UFO to be finished by end November 2013 (including making it into a banner for display) I'm stitching mine in red variegated thread rather than the multi colours shown in the photo
3. Let's Sew (stitchalong Cross Stitch Cafe) Completed 05 02 13
4. Thomas Stocking (Shepherd's Bush design)
5. Charland Stocking (Shepherd's Bush design)
Both of the above to be cross stitched and made into stockings by the end of November
6. Christmas Quilt to be finished - needs a bit more work on the applique then border, backing and quilting
7. A Sampler Quilt made from a Jelly Roll - I've already made one of these and would love to do another in a different colour scheme; aiming to do a block a month as I did last time so the complete quilt won't be finished until 2014. Have decided to use Petite Odile Jelly Roll
8. American Smooth cross stitch design
9. Snowflakes by Bent Creek To be finished on 31 1 13 Cross stitching finished 17 01 13 but want to add the snowflake button on 31 1 13 Completed 31 1 13
10. Cottage Garden Sampler by The Victoria Sampler
11 Wedding Ring Pillow by JBW Designs Needed for July
12 Quilt square on house theme - for end of March
13 Superheroes alphabet
Think it will be wonderful to see the variety of projects
Have now added projects 12 and 13 to my list so quoting myself to save re-typing
Love seeing the finished projects and also reading about what everyone has planned.
I haven't had a lot of time for stitching this month but I have completed the February task on my first project

I've also completed the quilt top on project 6, done some more stitchery on project 2 and some more cross stitch on project 4 - as you can tell I am the sort of stitcher who likes to work on multiple projects
Here is the finished Let's Sew (project 3) - as you can see it still has to be ironed and framed
