For future reference: the gigantic brightly coloured 'Download' button is usually a red herring.0 -

Sorry..back again. Got it all downloaded but not sure what to do next ?It works - I've just installed it. A few pointers ...
- Run the EXE files as Admin and in XP compatibility.
- Extract CD2 followed by CD3 followed by Extras, with CD1 last.
- Make sure all the folders extract to C:\Creative Suite CS2\Adobe
- Creative Suite 2.0 ... the C:\Creative Suite CS2 folder should just have a couple of PDF and HTML files in it.
- Navigate to the C:\Creative Suite CS2\Adobe
- Creative Suite 2.0 folder and set setup.exe to run as Admin and in XP compatibility.
- During install you'll need to use C:\PROGRA~2\Adobe as the install path - the installer doesn't like (x86) in the path name.
Have fun!

Scot, if you find installation challenging, it's a fair bet that Photoshop isn't the program for you.I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
But, if the white runs out, I'll drink the red.0 -

Had a look at what Adobe was offering for free and thought I'd have a play with Audition 3.0 (just out of curiosity). Have started the download and, with my excellent broadband performance, it's going to complete in 1 day and 20hrs.
On the edge of my seat now (although I'm worried that my back may start aching after the first 7hrs) - must be a good program if it's that big though!
Since I need something to do while I'm waiting, I've looked into what exciting things Audition will offer:

First time I've came across the term "crippleware". Very appropriate since my right leg has just gone to sleep!.Never let it get you down... unless it really is as bad as it seems.0 -

Wahey, can finally upgrade my dodgy version of photoshop 7 to something slightly less dodgy! Shame they didn't take over dreamweaver by then.
Can't believe I didn't spot this on HUKD.0 -
