Adobe Photoshop CS2 - Free

CS2 Suite free!

Anyone wanting it can download CS2 free of charge from Adobe. Obviously an older version as they are on CS6 but still has loads of functionality

You need an Adobe ID but no existing license is necessary. Since anyone can get an Adobe ID, the software is effectively freely available. Adobe seem to think that the software is so old that it can't hurt their sales of new versions but some of the software on that list is actually better than the current version.

    They made a boo-boo.
...although Adobe’s protesting that the software downloads aren’t for free, it’s not made any changes to the download page (which is still live); it’s just the same list of download files and serials, sitting pretty and waiting to be gorged by the collective hordes of the internetz.

I can post link after link showing everytime, CS2 requires an existing license in order to download CS2 and run it. Adobe ID is not the same.

Freebies you don't really need can be given to your local Hospice Charity shop so they can raise funds they desperately need. Pass on your good fortune :A

It works - I've just installed it. A few pointers ...
    • Run the EXE files as Admin and in XP compatibility.
    • Extract CD2 followed by CD3 followed by Extras, with CD1 last.
    • Make sure all the folders extract to C:\Creative Suite CS2\Adobe
    • Creative Suite 2.0 ... the C:\Creative Suite CS2 folder should just have a couple of PDF and HTML files in it.
    • Navigate to the C:\Creative Suite CS2\Adobe
    • Creative Suite 2.0 folder and set setup.exe to run as Admin and in XP compatibility.
    • During install you'll need to use C:\PROGRA~2\Adobe as the install path - the installer doesn't like (x86) in the path name.

    Have fun! :)

You don't need it; naturally the download page is filled with ads.

Direct link for Windows users here.
