Stupid buyer!

Why on earth is the buyer under the impression you offered free postage? Are you offering it on your other items? What exactly are your terms for P+P? Without knowing more about what exactly your terms stated its difficult to give advice?"There are no pockets in a shroud..."0

Well your terms are perfectly clear to me. Maybe this buyer isn't as stupid as he's trying to make out. What's his feedback like and how many? I would not budge on this Stavros. It sounds to me like he's trying it on. Honestly, the blatant cheek of some folk astounds me sometimes.
If it were me, I would send him a polite and calm (and final!) email explaining again the fact that your P+P terms are perfectly clear and that free postage is only available for collections for obvious reasons. By placing a bid on your auction he was accepting these terms. You could also tell him that when he writes cheques the info printed on the cheques is all that is needed for a DBT."There are no pockets in a shroud..."0 -
Thanks BargainBabe, in the end he's paid me £3.20 for 2nd class recorded (so 14p less than I stated). I figured that 14p was a fair cost for me to pay to keep my 100% feedback, but what a complete jerk! I'll wait for him to leave feedback then neg him methinks ... he he

The cheeky get! That is disgusting. I know its only a few pence, its just the bare face cheek of reducing the postage. I would send him his item and put him on your block bidder list. What is his feedback like btw, outta interest?"There are no pockets in a shroud..."0

14 positive but only joined 8th Jan 05 so very new. From his last email:
"Thanks
All done via paypal.
learning curve form me, once goods received in GWO then will post positive feedback"
so I'll just wait for that then give him a nice big fat red negative for being an a$$
What do you think I should put?0 -
that is absolutely brilliant lamopeter65 wrote:haha. I sold a camera not long ago, and in the list of specifications, under system requirements it said "150MB free hard disk space" & the guy e-mailed me saying he'd received the camera, but I'd forgotten to include the free 150MB hard disk haha

I can't believe it Stavros - incredible... inclined to send him/her a paypal invoice for 50p (14p + costs + 2 mins time!!), or an e-mail saying that as he's underpaid you won't be sending item recorded......I know, I know, they'll say they've not received it and extra hassle, but it gets you feeling this way.
How about neutral feedback - "good comms however tried to negotiate clearly stated p+p & underpaid"
New and old ebayers will be aware then be aware of what to expect? Good luck with the conclusion anyhow!0 -

Yeah, I don't think I would go straight for the negative jugular. I think a neutral is more appropiate here. I would personally leave off the 'good comms' bit though...really the !!!!!! should of just paid up and not wasted time using his "communication skills" trying to get you to lower the P+P!"There are no pockets in a shroud..."0 -

There's no way this guy is getting away without a negative! I think you people are way too soft. This has been a difficult, time-wasting transaction in which I have not been paid fully! I have done nothing wrong, and the guy will certainly be getting a negative.
ok I'm done
