When I rang them to inform them that I would temporarily be moving address, they didn't ask any questions, they said "that's fine, just ring us when you move in and ring us back when you move out and go back to your permanent address" so I don't think they will ask questions. They didn't when I moved to my mums 2 years ago.

I am sorry BBBNH. I have tried to explain to you my view (and thats all it is, for its worth) yet you don't seem to get my point.

Just because they didn't ask questions when you rang them, does not mean they won't later on.

Your arrangment is wierd looking from the outside.

Normally people split up and thats that. Even when there is a child involved couples part ways and maitenance is paid and thats that.

What does not happen is ex couples allow their residence to be used while they move out. It just sounds so..... contrived.

    But thats just my opinion.

It sounds like you are going to inform TC of your circumstances, so thats good. Can I suggest you somehow log your conversation.

You don't have to look far, indeed just this site to see what can happen
