No offence OP but has anyone rather large or heavy sat on the chair? I've seen that happen on other chairs when rather large/heavy people sit on them.0

Looks like its splitting at the front as well.0

A colleague of mine had a the same problem with a chair he bought from Staples. He phoned them and they apologised saying they had a number of them broke like this and sent him a new one.
These chairs are very cheaply made and they often crack like this, I'd phone Ebuyer and have another try.0
