Ebay! You are buying the phone out right you wont get a second hand iphone 4s much cheaper than £230! They hold there price very well!! Does it have to be an iphone? You can get a brand new nexus 4 which is more powerful than the iphone 5 and bigger screen for £230

Or just use a credit card to buy it, preferably with 0% on purchases.

What's the point in paying for minutes/texts that you don't need?

  • CPW are doing the iphone 4 on the T-Mobile full monty plan (2000 mins, unlimited texts and data) for £26/month with a £29 handset cost.

    Works out at:

    (£26 x 24months) + £29 = £653 total cost
    - Iphone 4 £319
= (£334/24 moths) = £13.92 per month for the line rental.

Not too shabby really for a full monty plan.

It is a 24 month contract though so if you have money to spend on the handset up front then buy the phone from apple and pair it with a cheaper sim only/pay go on virgin, giffgaff or 3.

Best advice, is buy a 5. It's not saving money now, but may be long term.

Apple will release the next iPhone towards the end of this year, the 5S or 6 release will most likely see the 4 retired. Obviously the 4 will work long after it's retired but will not get any further updates.

If your planning to keep the phone a few years spend more and get the current one that has at least three years updates ahead of it, rather than the 4 which at best ash 18 months or so before they discontinue updates to it.

Thank you very much for all your replies, am going to look into iPhone 5 as it make more sense to buy it with iPhone 6 coming soon.
