Booking EasyJet allocated seating with Nectar points

Would anyone know how to go about booking allocated seating using the Nectar EasyJet website? I've points which I'd like to redeem for a flight but there doesn't seem to be an option to select seats on the Nectar EasyJet website compared to the EasyJets website where this option is available.

Would it be as simple as booking on the Nectar site to redeem the points and then logging into the Easyjet site to pay for the allocated seat?

The faq on the EasyJet website suggests the following:

Can I book a flight without selecting a seat?
Yes you can. You do not have to pay to select your seat. In this case we will allocate you a seat when you check-in, either online by printing your boarding pass or at the airport check-in desk.

Just wondering if anyone has had experience since EasyJet haven't responded to my email yet.

Hi I have the same query, i notice you posted this a while ago? Has anyone got an update on this process? Can i book my seats on myeasyjet.com page once i have booked via nectar?
