Well whatever outcome you want in your heart, I hope is the one you get. Not long to wait to find out.0 -
It's a bit different as I was trying to conceive, but I tested 14 days after having sex, it was negative, re-tested after another 7 days (so 21 days after sex) and this was positive reading at 5 weeks pregnant.
I can't say that I had any symptoms about 14 days later or just after, when I felt some pulling in my lower tummy, although the test was negative at that point. It wasn't until a week later I knew I was pregnant.
I'm not sure if any of that helps, but I would think this early is just to soon to know either way. That said, some people are very in tune with their bodies and who knows if it's possible to sense things earlier than 2 weeks after sex. I guess at worse, you'll know one way or another in a few weeks......
Good luck either way

I got pregnant at the 'wrong' time in my cycle. My mum knew I was pregnant within 2 weeks. I didn't know until I was 7 weeks!! When I asked her why she didn't tell me, she said she thought I must've known but was keeping it quiet.
It sounds unlikely that you're pregnant, but not impossible. I'm afraid you'll have to wait a couple of weeks to find out.
my mum knew I was pregnant before I did too, so weird! I didnt realise I was pregnant yet I was waking up during the night feeling queasy and my sense of smell stepped up a gear, my boobs were really sore and I was VERY emotional, tired and felt like I had a cold that would go away.
After a couple of weeks of these symptoms my mum said "you sure your not pregnant?" and then the penny dropped, took a test and no sooner did the pee hit the stick it turned positive, I was 5 weeks gone.
OP only way to put your mind at rest is take a test, you do sound like you would be quite happy if you were, hope you get whichever result you'd be happy with.0 -
I had symptoms at around the 2 week mark with mine - I never had morning sickness, I was more of a fainter. OH took me out for our wedding anniversary and I passed out in a nightclub, that was the November - DS2 born August. With DS3 I went to jump out of bed one morning and fell on the floor with dizziness, which lasted about 2 weeks.Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame

pinkskyatnight, I need to ask, how old are you? When I was in my early twenties I found the smallest discerancy in my normal physical being a worry; I'd just moved in with my long term bf, and we were extremely sexually active.
If I'm honest, the worries stemmed from my guilt (traditional family values) and the thoughts of my life plans being wreaked by pregnancy.
To allay worries, take family planning under your own control.
The mirena coil was a fantastic choice for me. But you might want something so simple as one of the many contraceptive pills available from your GP.
Go to your GP. Ask about the available choices that suit your life, and TAKE CONTROL! Your body. Your life.0
