You must be using the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostics site. Click Start Diagnostics and it runs the tests. You need to click the yellow bar at the top of the web page and click 'Install ActiveX Control' and click Install to each of the prompts and then the failed tests should work.

It seems to be all down to it saying my Microsoft is not a genuine copy, it was supplied with pc when it was bought from pc world about 4 yrs ago

Set up could not verify the integrity of the file Update.inf. Make sure the Cryptographic service is running on this computer.
This is the error message i get when i try to validate microsoft

I have done that and it still does not work

I did that and run again but it still comes up same error message

this comes up as access denied
