Gift for new twins

I'm also a mum of twins:eek:
I think a really nice teddy which they can keep for many years.
Please make sure they are the same though to avoid arguments in the future!
That's a personal preference. In our case, we decided that we would rather have them different so that it is clear that they have different ones. With items that last, we would rather have "C's stuff" and "I's stuff" than "the twins' stuff".
I agree with others that you shouldn't really look for anything twin-specific. They are two babies that happened to be born the same time so just get two nice baby presents. A feeding cushion and a extra-large playmat are about the only things that we got that are at all twin-specific. Everything else is just two the same or similar.0 -
There are many online supplier they provide some unique and special gift for babies but I personally like outfits for baby.0

Thanks for all the suggestions. Went to the local retail park this afternoon and found 2 gorgeous snuggly blankets (one pink with pale pink hearts and one a silvery blue with white stars) and 2 matching (one blue, one pink) comforter toys for the £32 that the JL blankets would have cost. Got some posh smellies for her and am baking some chocolate brownies now. Will parcel it all up and post it tomorrow or Thursday.
Hope she likes it!Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -
Sounds perfect. I've still got all my babies special blankets in a safe place.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

How about buying two pink and blue comforters? Disney store have some lovely ones. My daughter (now 7) still has her one from when she was a baby. I think they can personalise them if you buy them from the website. x0

We dont live near to each other so can't do frozen meals or babysitting etc. I need to be able to order online and then post it to them. Budget of £20-30. Would like Something cute but also useful. Don't want to make any assumtions about feeding etc. One was under 5lbs and the other just under 7lbs. Don't mind a small gift and a voucher if it comes to it.
So, parents of twins, what was your best/favourite present?

Thank you for going to so much effort, but as I said in post 24, I'm sorted now!Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -
Someone bought us a welsh love spoon with a stork design - its something a little bit different and prob my favourite gift we received!0

I know you're sorted, but for any future searchers, I found a giant baby mat for my two which was great when they started to shuffle around, similar to this. One of the best things we bought, which we've bought for others and had good feedback, are baby bundlers. Like nighties, great for night time changes. Like these.0
